1. Eligibility and acceptance

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account or submitting content, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you act for a business, you represent that you have authority to do so.

2. Directory role and no endorsement

AroundThomasville is a directory and information platform. A listing, verification badge, sponsored placement, claim status or search position is not a guarantee or endorsement of a business, product, service, price, license, safety or suitability. Users should independently evaluate businesses and professionals.

3. Accurate listings, claims and impersonation

• Do not impersonate a person or business or falsely claim authority over a listing.
• Provide information you reasonably believe is accurate and keep claimed listing information current.
• Category and other material listing changes may be held for moderator review.
• We may correct, merge, suspend, unpublish or annotate listings when reasonably necessary for accuracy, safety or legal compliance.

4. Your content and license

You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant AroundThomasville a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, format, display and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the directory. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.

5. Prohibited content and conduct

• Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, harassing or discriminatory content.
• Private personal information posted without appropriate authority.
• Copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property infringement.
• Undisclosed paid endorsements, fabricated testimonials or deceptive advertising.
• Malware, scraping that materially burdens the service, credential attacks, unauthorized access or interference with security.
• Spam or unsolicited commercial use of site messaging features.

6. Deals, advertising and paid placement

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy, legality, availability, restrictions and redemption terms of their offers and advertisements. Sponsored or paid placements are identified separately from organic directory eligibility. Material connections and endorsements must be disclosed as required by law.

7. Intellectual property and DMCA

Do not upload content you do not have the right to use. AroundThomasville provides a copyright notice process and may terminate repeat infringers when appropriate.

8. Suspension and termination

We may restrict features, remove content, suspend accounts or terminate access for violations, fraud, security risks, repeated infringement, legal requirements or material harm to users or the service. We may preserve records as required or permitted by law.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. AroundThomasville does not warrant that directory information is complete, error-free or continuously available. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AroundThomasville is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service or dealings with listed businesses. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Georgia, without overriding any non-waivable consumer protections. Before filing a dispute, users are encouraged to contact AroundThomasville so the issue can be reviewed.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Questions may be submitted through the Contact page.
